McMahon does not have the Democratic nomination yet. He has a primary opponent in Steve Harrison who was the 2006 nominee. Against a pre-scandal Fossella in 2006, Harrison received a higher percentage of the vote than any district Democrat in a generation.
Hey Just want to point out that in OH-02 there is an independent thats taking about 20% of the votes right now in the polling for that district, so there is a real chance for an Independent.
